We are convinced that volunteering your time to support a cause you are passionate about is something you will never regret. We know that it will enrich your life, familiarize you with your community and beyond, and connect you to people and ideas from all walks of life, that will positively impact your perspective for the rest of your life.
Helping those less fortunate than you is a very humbling experience and is an opportunity for you to grow as a person. It is also an opportunity to better understand how you fit into the world around you.
Spending time enriching the lives of those in need, is a great way to broaden your perceptions of the world. By immersing yourself into a cause you are passionate about and surrounding yourself with people who are dedicated to bettering the world we live in, you can learn so much about how the world works. You gain a unique sense of purpose by serving those around you, one which often manifests in other areas of your life.
Of course, it’s also important for those in need! Without volunteers, and people who want to make a difference in our world, many of the basic necessities which we take for granted daily, would not be so readily available for so many people.
Even just spending time locally helping out at local shelters or food banks provides an important service to our less fortunate neighbors. Giving back to the place you call home helps to unite the community and bridge some of the social, economic and political gaps.
There are so many important causes out there that always need caring volunteers to support the work they’re doing. Whether you’re passionate about advocacy, animal rights, water aid, children in need, food poverty or helping the homeless, you can always find a valuable way to donate your time and give your efforts. Although almost everything begins on the internet these days, many towns and cities have community centers, which can be a great place to find opportunities to give back to the place you call home.
So despite the social fear and franticness of the worldwide pandemic of Covid19, National Lockdowns and our long list of jobs to get through in order to keep our business afloat, our minds are definitely more focused than ever on the causes we feel passionate about. In the whirlwind and adrenalin of it all it’s not easy to take the time to stop and think – to celebrate our successes such as project VITAwater, and as a business, and the effort it’s taken to get here. But we are proud of the CSR work we have done in spite of the current setbacks we still face to the normal functioning of our daily lives.
