    Saccharomyces Boulardii is a unique bacterial yeast that has been safely used worldwide for more than half a century. This yeast works as a ‘probiotic’ by colonising the intestinal tract and supporting the growth of friendly bacteria for a healthy balance of gut flora.

    Those with IBS presenting as frequent bouts of diarrhoea are suffering from IBS-D. IBD is caused by an inappropriate immune response to gut microbiota. If this is something you suffer from, you may consider the probiotic Saccharomyces boulardii which has been shown in many clinical trials to help support gut health in those with occasional diarrhoea. Also 7-14 days treatment with S. boulardii is effective at preventing diarrhea caused by antibiotics.
